Just wanted to remind each of you, Dual Enrollment Registration for SGTC and GSW is happening NOW, Monday, April 6th through Wednesday, April 8th.
If you are planning to take classes at SGTC or GSW during the summer and/or fall semester, please be sure to email Cindy Hagerson, chagerson@schleyk12.org, with the classes you are planning to take.
Please email me with any questions. Also, please note we will NOT be able to extend the deadline for registration, so make sure you email me soon!

Libraries are closed, but WIFI is still available from the parking lots of many Georgia public libraries.
When visiting these libraries, please stay in your vehicle and observe guidelines to keep a distance of at least 6 feet away from your fellow Georgians. Also, follow local governments’ rules and directions restricting travel and outdoor activities.

Schley County Schools will stay closed for the remainder of this school year per the Governor's executive order. Distance learning plans will continue starting Monday. We will notify you as more information comes available.

Parents & Students,
Beginning April 6th, Schley County Middle/High School will be implementing some changes in how our school's distance learning will be organized. You can find the details for these changes at our school website or our school Facebook page.

Parents who are emailing Mrs. Hernandez and Coach Theiss about internet access, will you please list the first and last name of the child and their grade level. Thank you for your help.

DAR Scholarship deadline has been moved to May 1, 2020.

Senior caps and gowns will be given out once we have returned to school. All senior activities will be discussed at a later date.

In accordance with Governor Kemp’s executive order closing all schools until April 24th, the prom will be rescheduled at the earliest possible date once we return to school.

This is a reminder that all fields at the athletic complex are closed to the public until further notice. Do not go around locked gates to gain access.

SOLD OUT no plant sale tomorrow and a big thank you to all that supported the SCHS Ag. Department plant sale.

In line with Governor Kemp's executive order to close all schools until April 24, all Schley County Middle/High School facilities are closed. This includes the athletic fields. The sheriff's department will begin patrolling the school's facilities to ensure compliance. Thank you for your cooperation during this trying time for our community, state, and nation.

Spring break will remain as scheduled for next week. Following Spring break, schools will be closed for in person instruction through April 24. More information about at home instruction will be posted next week.

Per executive order, all Georgia schools will be closed for in person instruction through April 24th. Any further determinations for the remainder of the school year will be made before April 24th. The governor will give a state address at 8:00 tonight.

To all of our SGTC Dual Enrollment parents and students...Your online classes will resume on April 1. Please be on the lookout for an email from your instructor with directions. If you are in a class that meets on our campus, be on the lookout for an email from your instructor as well! Even these classes will resume ONLINE on April 1st- your instructor will help you navigate the class online.
We are hoping to re-open our campus on April 13!! So hopefully anyone with labs (such as welding) will be able to complete what they need to.
