
Congratulations to our Cross Country teams on their performance at the Region 5-A meet today. The girls finished second and the boys finished first. Both teams qualified for state in Carrollton on Nov. 7. David Williams finished first overall and the boys were all in the top 7.

The Lady Wildcats play host to Bryan Co today for a chance to advance to the Final Four. Game times are 1:30 and 3:30. Admission is $7 and only GHSA approved passes will grant admission.

FCCLA Reminders...If you entered the pumpkin carving contest, please turn them in to Mrs. Driver today. The FCCLA meeting this afternoon will be from 3-4 p.m. Only members interested in competing at state in Feb & March need to attend. Officer meeting Tuesday from 3-5 p.m.

Congratulations to the SCHS Robotics team for placing in the Top 5 at Saturday's Auburn University virtual VEX Robotics competition. Schley competed against schools from Canada, Washington state, Alabama, and Georgia. With a top 5 finish, Schley County currently stands 2nd in the GA state VEX rankings.

The softball team will host Bryan Co. on Tuesday and Wednesday. Game times are 1:30 and 3:30 Tues. and 2:00 Wed. Any student wanting to attend must bring a note to checkout to the office by 10:00 am each day.

The Lady Wildcats sweep GMC 2-1 and 4-1 to advance to the Elite Eight. We will host the winner of Bryan Co. and Wheeler Co. on Tuesday and Wednesday.

High School Students...Please check the bulletin board across from the Media Center to see if you made Bronze or Silver Honor Roll. We will be giving out those rewards early next week during 1st block.

High school choir will be meeting after school today. Be in the art room at 3:10. Middle school choir will meet Monday.

Middle school boy's basketball tryouts will be held Monday, Oct. 26, in the high school gym at 4:30 p.m. You must have an updated physical on file to participate.

Any student wanting to check out to go to the softball games tomorrow need to have a signed parent note to the front office by 10:30 in the morning.
