Pertinent information regarding the Office of Recruitment and Admissions at GSW

  • Freshman Applicants for Summer and Fall 2020 no longer need SAT or ACT scores for admission.
    • Students who do not submit SAT or ACT scores will be evaluated based on their high school GPA.  Students must also complete the 17 RHSC courses.
    • Students who have tested are encouraged to submit scores to aid in English and Math course placement.
  • GSW is currently waiving our undergraduate application fee, for a limited time.
  • Campus Tours have been canceled until April 20th.  We will continue to monitor Federal, State, and CDC guidelines regarding public gatherings and will adjust  our timeline appropriately.
  • We are continuing to work.  Our office is processing applications, transcripts, test scores, and making decisions daily.
    • While we are working remotely, at least one member of our staff will be physically present in our office M-F from 8:00-5:00.
  • STORM Day (Registration) dates are being reviewed.  Your students will receive updates through email.

The link below is on our home page.  The link will navigate the user to the “COVID-19 and 2020 Freshman Admissions Standards” page.  The page includes information regarding admission requirements and notification of the waived application fee.  It is complete with two links.  The first link will navigate the user to GAFutures.  The second link provides the user instructions on how to request a transcript through GAFutures.  Please feel free to share this with your students: www.gsw.edu/admissions/covid

In this uncertainty, our entire office remains committed to you and your students.  I look forward to our continued work together.  I hope and trust that we will all find normalcy soon.

Always Southwestern,
